Overview:
FRANMAN is establishing a dedicated Dry Docking Division to serve Greek shipowners through a trusted international network of shipyards. We are seeking a skilled and proactive professional to join our team as Dry Docking Broker / Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing dry docking projects from enquiry to completion, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main liaison between Greek shipowners and our shipyard network for all dry docking projects.
• Collect and analyse vessel dry dock specifications, ensuring complete and accurate documentation is shared with the yards.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing dockings, ensuring schedules, budgets, and work scopes are met.
• Coordinate with shipyards, superintendents, and owners to ensure smooth communication and timely completion of works.
• Maintain an updated database of yard availabilities, slot allocations, and ongoing dockings.
• Prepare detailed proposals and cost comparisons for clients, based on slot availability, yard capability, and pricing.
• Support negotiations between owners and yards, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
• Escalate and assist in resolving any technical or scheduling issues that arise during the docking process.
• Provide feedback and after-docking performance assessments to improve service quality.
• Represent Franman’s Dry Docking Division in meetings, presentations, and marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or related maritime discipline).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ship repair, dry docking coordination, or a related technical/commercial field.
• Solid understanding of dry docking processes, shipyard operations, and vessel technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with reporting tools.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and project management abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver under tight timelines.
• A proactive mindset and attention to technical and commercial detail.
